You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.

Subscribe to MobileIO by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator.

You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options. Once a month, your password will be emailed to you as a reminder.

2. TOPICS
a) Only discussion of issues directly or closely related to Metric Halo (MH) hardware and/or software is on topic and thus permissible.
b) Ignoring or *publicly* arguing a moderator's ruling that a thread is off-topic may result in being put on moderated status or unsubscription.
c) Posts about the list itself are off-topic and may result in being put on moderated status or unsubscription.
d) Posting political opinion is prohibited and may result in being put on moderated status or unsubscription.
e) Please do not post warnings about viruses, pending legislation, toxins in hairspray, etc. Most of the time these are hoaxes.

3. PIRACY
a) Any posts advocating, or intentionally aiding and abetting software piracy will result in immediate unsubscription as well as being permanently banned from MobileIO List.

4. ADVERTISING
a) Equipment for sale may be posted by private parties so long as the item(s) for sale are manufactured by Metric Halo. Links to eBay auctions are not allowed at any time.
b) Hardware/software manufacturers (with the exception of Metric Halo) may not post new product announcements, press releases, special offers to the list without prior consent of the moderator.
c) Music hardware/software retailers are not allowed to make posts for the purposes of soliciting customers or quote prices on the list. Music retailers may include their business web site URL in their signature, but not their business phone number.
d) Self promotion should appear as a postscript to a contributing post, instead of self promotion being the sole purpose of an individual post.
